If you follow your bliss you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living.
I believe that we can all live the bliss-filled lives we “ought to be living” by listening to our guts and hearts. The hard part, though, is cutting through the static created by our judging minds and cultural conditioning long enough to actually hear what what we already know deep down inside.
There are many pathways to discovering what makes us come alive, and I offer to you here the constellation of practices that have been my own most trustworthy guides in that pursuit: freewriting, mindfulness practice, and compassionate conversation.
